How much does it cost to ship?

Our Shopping Cart allows you to see your shipping costs prior to ordering. To get a UPS shipping quote, enter your zip code and press the <submit> button. This will show you all of your UPS shipping options and prices.

UPS is our primary shipper. We utilize LTL (less than a truck load) freighters for large equipment orders, i.e., products weighing more than 150 lbs or oversized items. Larger orders are shipped using an LTL carrier and often cost less than the computed UPS charge. If you are ordering a large quantity of items and the UPS charge exceeds $120, please call our Sales Dept for a freight quote.

A1 Pool Parts offers a 50% discount off UPS ground on orders exceeding $125 in Orange County, CA and Las Vegas, NV. We utilize a local delivery company to deliver these orders. We offer free delivery to Orange County, CA and Las Vegas for orders that exceed $2,000. Please contact our Sales dept. for a promo code.

We also offer free Will Call pickup service from our Will Call Office in Santa Ana, CA.

If the shopping cart quoted shipping price seems too high or low, please notify Sales Dept. to confirm the shipping weight and dimensions.

If your cart weight exceeds 300 lbs, please contact our Sales Dept for a quote.

Does A1 Pool Parts Markup the Shipping Prices?

A1 Pool Parts does not intentionally markup the UPS quoted price. If you feel the quoted shipping price is too low or too high, please call the Sales Dept. We use UPS' algorithm for these calculations. A1 Pool Parts reserves the right to alter the shipping rates without notice if the quoted price is erroneous.

Does A1 Pool Parts charge a handling fee?

Yes, there is a $1.00 warehouse handling charge to cover the cost of boxes and packaging supplies. This is already included in the shipping amount you see on the screen.

Where are orders shipped from?

Most products are shipped from Orange County, CA. However, to expedite delivery times, we will sometimes ship from distribution centers in other states. Shipping quotes are always based on shipping from Orange County, CA. No credits are given to customers if a product is shipped from a warehouse other than our Orange County warehouse. In most cases, products shipped from other states cost us more to purchase so it balances out.

How long will it take to receive my shipment once I've ordered?

If the item is in stock, it is most often shipped same day if the order is placed before Noon PST. Most orders are shipped within 24 – 48 business hours of order entry. Shipping can take 1 - 5 business days depending on the destination region and the UPS shipping method chosen. West coast orders are generally delivered within 1 - 2 business days. East coast orders generally take 4 - 5 business days.

If your order has not shipped within 3 business days, you will receive an email from us notifying you of the delay and estimated shipping date.

Does A1 Pool Parts have a showroom?

No, we are an internet pool store. A1 Pool Parts' customers enjoy very low prices because we do not have the overhead costs associated with having a Retail Outlet.

Can I pick up my order and save on delivery fees?

We offer FREE will call service from our Santa Ana, CA office. Will call orders must be placed ahead of time; we do not have stock at this facility.

We receive two deliveries per day from our local supplier. Once your order is ready for pickup, a member of our Customer Service team will call you.

Why did my package arrive without any paperwork?

A1 Pool Parts sends two receipts to the customer via email. The first one is generated at order time, the second upon shipment. You should confirm your order with the first email. Please contact us if there are any changes needed prior to shipping.

In order to keep costs down, we do not include any paperwork inside the box.

If you find that you received something other than what you ordered, please notify Customer Service as soon as possible so that we can promptly correct the error.

Does A1 Pool Parts Place International Orders?

If you live outside of the United States, you can place an order with us as long as the following conditions are met:

  • Payment is made in US Dollars. Payment can be made with a credit card, check or wired into our bank account.
    • For credit card payments, the credit card must have a billing address inside the US.
    • If paid by check, the order will be filled once the check is cleared (allow up to 15 business days).
  • Payment can be wired to our bank account.
  • The order must be shipped to a US address.
