Salt Water Chlorinators are the fastest-growing product in the swimming pool industry. Salt Water Chlorine generators create chlorine by passing a small electrical current through the salt in your pool water, creating chlorine gas. In the process of doing so, the water is shocked, killing bad chlorine (chloramines). Chloramines leave a chlorine odor on your skin. The only way to eliminate chloramines is to shock your water with harsh chemicals or with a salt water chlorinator. Salt Water chlorinators dramatically improve water quality and help eliminate algae.

Salt Water Chlorination has been in existence since the 1970's; the technology is quite mature. Most salt water chlorinators are equivalent in quality. That is, the salt cells last anywhere from 3 - 5 years depending on usage and level of care.

Our best selling salt water chlorinator is the Pentair Intellichlor. It's priced almost $200 less than other brands and is similar in quality. The new Jandy Ei salt water chlorinator is our lowest priced system and can be installed by the homeowner in about 20 minutes.

Chlorine / Bromine Tablet feeders offer a convenient and inexpensive way to dispense chlorine or bromine gradually by using either offline or inline tablet containers. The Pentair Rainbow Tablet feeders are our best selling tablet feeders. These chlorinators come in sizes capable of chlorinating pools up to 100,000 gallons. The main disadvantage to tablet feeders is that the chlorine is gradually dispensed. A pool cannot be shocked with a tablet feeder. LESS
