Sta-Rite heaters are the most unique heaters on the market. Made from a composite shell, the Max-E-Therm utilizes it PMG combustion technology to produce the highest efficiency (84%) in its class, while keeping NOx emissions to a minimum.

Additional features include:

• Exact Temperature Controls - The weatherproof temperature controls accommodates temperatures for both a pool and a spa running off of the same heater, in fahrenheit (°F) or celsius (°C).
• Operates at altitudes up to 9000 ft.
• Energy Efficient - PMG combustion technology improves efficiency and reduces operating costs. Also provides faster heat ups. The three sizes available are 84% efficient.

• Available in Standard and Heavy Duty models - The heavy duty model contains a cupro-nickel heat exchanger, which consists of a thicker more durable metal. Cupro-nickel heat exchangers are more resistant to low pH and low alkalinity conditions than a standard copper heat exchanger. We recommend cupro-nickel on stand-alone spas since spas are very susceptible to chemical changes due to their small relative size.

• Safety - Internal safety feature sets maximum temperature levels. Full diagnostic lights for troubleshooting problems.

• Environment Friendly - Exceeds all air pollution standards. Electronic ignition enables you to never worry about a pilot light blowing out or leaking gas.
• Available in natural gas or propane models.
• The natural gas models are available with cupro-nickel heat exchanger fin tubes (Heavy Duty).
• Rust-Proof Enclosure - Constructed of Dura-Glas - a sleek, lightweight and rustproof material that withstands heat and the elements.
• Sta-Rite heaters are the most unique heaters on the market. That means less time waiting for your pool or spa to warm up, and more time enjoying it.
• LED indicator lights and its 360 degrees of access to the internals make it extremely service friendly.
• The unit is compact and weighs less than 145 pounds, and has a rotating top, making it the installers’ choice.
• 2 year warranty (1 year for commercial use).

Please note that the heavy duty version, which includes a cupro-nickel heat exchanger, is NOT ASME certified.
